HELLO!

January 25th, 2016
Awesome things this week. The highlight was that I got to set apart a recent convert named Angel to be a deacon. It was something really special to get to be the voice for that priesthood ordination. It is something special every time that I get to exercise the preisthood. It really helps me to remember the power of God and how we can be instruments in His hands. One thing that I have learned is that we can either be the newest and greatest instruments, all shiny and ready to be used, or old and beat up, needing some repair and sometimes needing a lot of work. I know that as we constantly strive to be these conduits of the spirit, we will be polished and prepared to better serve in the Lord's Kingdom and one day receive of Celestial Glory.

Love you all, and hope that you have an incredible week!

Great Week

January 19th, 2016

I have had an incredible and super hard week this last week! I love it so much because I have companion that I really get and that we get along super well. But when God blesses you with a great companion that you understand, there is always the trials in another way. We started out this last week biking almost the entire day without and appointment. That happened the day after too, but we met with one person I believe the second day. After those couple of days, we had some great miracles where we had two investigators accept pretty solid baptismal dates. It was awesome!!!! I am so excited for this transfer and can't to see all of the miracles come to pass! I just love getting to serve the Lord! It's awesome!

Here are some pictures. One of them is when a missionary in my district got locked in a members bathroom, and the other is at a devotional where I got to see the Walkers, a senior couple, that were serving in my old area. I will try and get more pictures this next week!

Anyways, not much more to write about because I can't remember all of the great things that have happened. Just know that all is well and that your prayers are felt. Also, remember the blessings that being obedient bring, even in the small and minuscule things that maybe don't seem all that important, because when we do them, God sees that we are willing to obey even to the smallest degree! Love you all!

New Transfer Begins!

January 12th, 2016
Great week here in the California, Fresno Mission! We had a mini missionary with us this last week, which made it even more exciting then usual! He was from Fresno and he just turned sixteen. It was an incredible experience! The best part is that we serve in an all spanish area and he didn't know any spanish whatsoever!

I really loved getting to see all of the miracles that the Lord placed in our path. One of the biggest being this women named Anna. We were going to visit a former investigator that had been listening to the missionaries a few years ago when we passed in front of Anna's house. As we walked by, I noticed that the tv was on and that it looked like there was a missionary talking on the screen. I wasn't sure if I was right, but we felt we should go and try knocking. She comes to the door and opens it with a big grin on her face. She couldn't get the smile off of her face as we were talking. It seemed like she knew we would be coming. We asked if we could come back and she was willing and accepting. Come to find out she had been taught by missionaries a couple of years ago and also has gone to our church before. Crazy how the Lord places those that are prepared in our path if we are doing our part and portion.

Also, I have had a big breakthrough with prayer lately. One thing that hit me is to think that my Father in Heaven is right there in front of me as I am talking to Him. I now picture Him more like my dad when we have a talk instead of a judge looking down upon me. I have found that it helps, and would invite all of you to do the same! Hope that the Lord continues to bless each and every one of you!

A New Year!

Jan 4th, 2016
This week was cool, we had an awesome experience with a women named Gillermina. She is a 40 year old women ish, with a large family. She has a husband that is a drunk and has 5 kids ish. We left a book of mormon with her to read and left the introduction. She told us how she was always busy with the kids and just didn't have time to read. We re-invited her and testified of how much it could help and bless her life. We came back a couple of days later, and she came out with a big grin on her face. She said, ' I read brother, up to page 22!' That was including all of the joesph smith history pages in the front and the testimony of the witnesses! I was so excited! It felt so great to see how excited she was about reading and what it was that she had learned. I know that we can all take this as a message that there is always time to read the scriptures, no matter what our circumstances.
This upcoming week is going to be exciting because we are going to have a mini-missionary with us! It will be a priest and he is going to come and stay with us for 3 days. I am excited for it!
Besides that I hope you all have a great week and kick off the new year with some spiritual and family goals that will help you draw closer to the savior! Love you all!
